mini scaler build

so my girlfreind brought me home this toy grade rc from a yatd sale lol anyway the body is kinda interesting im not sure if its a isuzu or a rav4 but i figured i would build it anyway

plan is some wpl axles and a redcat everest 16 transmision up front to some kind of home made transfer case and use one of those micro outrunners and run the 1.0 wheels and tires

But why do you need to change anything? It's already "super turbo off-roader".

Should turn out to be an interesting build.

That's a pretty good representation of a roughly '99 or so Toyota RAV4:

Re: mini scaler build

when i pulled the body off i found theres a full interior inside hidden behind those black plastic windows no dash though but hay
ill open the windshild and front side windows up then put in some clear plastic in place
i found a really cheap.transfer case i think will work out great so i not gona try to make one
the mini outrunner is on its way i really like this motor on my maxstone 16 so i think it will be perfict for this build

This looks like a fun build. The boxy looking WPL axles are pretty good.

thanks yo this one is pretty much about the build i dont exspect it to perform at all especially since its a small scale tiny tire build

im just doing it for the fun of it

i did order the boxy wpl axles in silver lol i dont know if there the ones your talking about though there is a.moremb9xy version too but good to know there decent axles i have the rounder version on my d12 chassie but i havent been able to work out the rest of the drive train bugs to get a feel for it so im still new to the wpl axle scene for the most part anyway lol

these are the ones i orderedhttps://thumbs2.imgbox.com/52/1e/it4Ui2aA_t.jpg

The body is pretty cool and in good condition. I'm excited to see what you come up with.
