planning for my first build! how is this idea?

well i just spent 3hours trying to learn to use autocad and a caliper and i finally finished drawing up the new hole locations for my compact tranni idea.

my idea will put the motor on the bottom of the tranni...if it turns out good it might end up oiled filled too...this is months away to being finished because iam still in school, and finalls are comming up!

got any sugestions on how i can improve the design?

ps. the reason why there is no shifter hole yet is cuse i want to get the other holes drilled out and then figure the best place for the shifter!

There are a lot of ACAD guys on here, including myself. I honestly don't know what you are depicting since I have never owned a HL tranny, but if you want to be able to check your design more accurately, draw in 3D. Use the help menu also, I learned everything I know by just reading the help menus in ACAD.

Check out the thread in the Tools and procedures forum called 3d modeling/rendering.
