| Chassis Mount Servo (steering/articulation interaction)
OK, I considered posting this in the newbie section in case it was a dumb question, but thought I would get better coverage from the scale section. So I'll risk it . What are the pros and cons of a chassis mount steering servo. To me it looks more scale providing there is no need for a plate for 4-link upper link triangulation (i.e. K2-3L blem blowout I have on the way). What I was wondering though, was whether there is an interaction with articulation and steering. Or does this come down to setup? Thanks, Dave. |

it all comes down to set up. I run a chassis mounted servo on my K2-4 and have zero problems with steering and articulation interfering with each other.

I am just finishing up Poject Guido right now. It has a chassis mounted steering servo, the panhard bar and drag link are very close to parallel and very close to the same length. I am getting no bump steer throughout the entire suspension travel range. It's all in how you build it. |

Great, thanks for the replies. So I guess there is a potential problem, that can be overcome by correct setup. The pictures are great!!
