There's plenty more cool stuff on the way from Tamiya for the scale crowd.

Just wait.

every one should go to the tamiya usa site and tell them they should release it here in the us cause they would make more money off the body if they did i already did hope they can be convinced

If there's something cooking, JIA usually knows...

Truth is, Tamiya usually limits production on most of its classis re-releases, probably due to tooling and packaging costs. It's never smart to over-saturate your market. Good business practice is to keep an item in the highest sustainable rate of demand.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised to see this as a test market to study demand for another kit introduced based on the HiLift platform.

As long as it has an 80's Yota/Chevy body I'll buy it.

thats cause of how they have it sitting on the chassis if the body set lower it would look just like the original but on 1.9s

Why buy just the body when you can get the whole truck?

Cos it looks better than it goes. Thats why I'm in the process of building a custom Hilux that also performs. Build up thread to come, just waiting for stuff to be machined...

The UK is a free country. You choose what you do.

It's not like anyone is forcing you to spend $300 on a body.

I argree Tamiya has about no brains, I see everywere I go talk about this body, I easily bet even though they say $60 (them others that want it just as bad as us) will easily jack that price up to the $200.

Maybe theres hope!
Hope to get boned by the idiots at Tamiya. They have their heads buried so deep in many areas when it comes to international sales and marketing.

How do you buy from yahoo Japan? just a little curious cause I see no way to get an english version of the page. When using babel fish to translate once you view the item the URL becomes too long and the translator then errors. There any way to buy it from yahoo Japan with english pages? And also what kina payment meth do they accept? I'm real new at this yahoo auctions and just heard about it from this thread.
