Default might be stupid, nut none the less!

I may have bumped my head here fellas...1.9/2.2 tire wheel combos?
I know that the 1.9 and 26mm wheels are the same, but are you guys running 2.2 tires on these 1.9 wheels, i cant seem to find a selection of descent off road tires in a 1.9! whats the standard hex, is it a 12mm?
thanks:-P

to clearify for you...1.9=diameter of wheel...26mm=width of wheel...any touring car wheel with a 12mm hex will work with 1.9 tires.....2.2 tires go on 2.2 rims...same for 1.9's....1.9 tire selection::high lift, bfg, mud slingers, trail doctors, cut and shut 2.2's....good luck and hope this helps...
