Ebay Score, and eventual scaler build!

check out what i just scored on ebay!!!

$71 + $15 shipping = $96

bruiser frame with al the cross members!!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160158203694

this is the only way i was interested in building a scaler, and i didn't want to spend over $100 for it!!!;-)

now deciding on what body to use, and if i want to go 1.9 or 2.2...

BrandonW 10-08-2007 06:03 PM

wait for the new hilux body set they will be sweet and people might think yours is a original :)

My mathulator says that it's $86. I sure hope you get it. Did you see that there is no insurance or tracking or garantee that it'll even arrive

Racer4Life 10-08-2007 06:16 PM

For the extra $5.00 I would have gotten the tracking and insurance!

Good find though! Will this be the winter scale build?

konafreeride11 10-08-2007 06:19 PM

iv bought lots of bruiser stuff from him and it also gets here pretty fast.

cammok5 10-08-2007 06:20 PM

i hope you can fix the kink in it. good find though.

STANG KILLA SS 10-08-2007 07:49 PM

thats not that good of a deal.....ive seen several go for $60 here ....

4u2nv 10-08-2007 07:51 PM

That's a pretty good price. There was just one in the classified section for $135. He ships fast too. I've gotten some stuff from him quicker then most sellers in the US.

dorji 10-08-2007 08:38 PM

:lol:I was bidding on this chassis. I stopped bidding at 40 though. Glad someone on this site got it."thumbsup" good luck with your build.

Yeh, and I have seen them go for over $200.00 on the bay!

STEEL_CITY_CRAWLER 10-08-2007 10:03 PM

i am also considering instead of using a body, making an F-Toy tube cage to go on the frame....

f-toy would be killer! like you, i didn't build a scaler until i had a bruiser frame. there are other options, but i like the bruiser.

i agree, the scale chassis for sale through the vendors are OK, but none are as realistic as the bruiser frame"thumbsup"

really, that's about the only thing Tamiya dropped the ball on when they made the high-lift...

Mirage 10-09-2007 06:59 AM

Agree, nice find. Racer4Life just hooked me up with one not long ago.

Crawln Coles 10-10-2007 06:43 PM

STEEL_CITY_CRAWLER 10-10-2007 11:47 PM
