I grew up in Cedartown. Next time I head down that way I will post up in the GA forum. I will be going down this summer. You think there would be much around Cave Springs?

the guy that has the green/silver axial siad he has i think an uncle that lives there that we may go run at one day. i would believe so need to ride up there and look around thats how we found this. yea let me know. if nothin else i'm about to start building some places on the property we look over.

to get here, once you're on 411 coming out of cartersville, once you get thru 3rd redlight, get in left lane cause you will go thru 2 more lights then the lanes split you need to stay in left lane till it merges back to 2 lanes, once it does when you can get back in right lane, when you come to next red light you turn right, it's walker mtn. rd. you will go may be 5 miles roughly, you come u a rise and see a long straight away, lock and dam park sign will be on right. a white sign maybe 3x4ft. just have to look out for it. it's $2 to park and you're good to go. will try to get more accurate directions when i can. lmk

just looked at map tltryan has linked it's better than mapquest. on it where walker mtn rd. runs into blacks bluff rd. is just a curve didn't realize road changed names. but if you follow the road on down you will see lock and dam road. also can look at rfpra.com under, recreation and park services, click on facilities and has parks listed there.
