Default Georgia get together...

lets do this!!! I badly want to see how my rig does up against some of the other 2.2's I see here at rccrawler...anyone interested or know of a good place to get together? I was thinking stone mountain or something...I look daily for good places to crawl and haven't found a great place yet. (that's why I started building a course on my yard...should be sweet when it's done)

Buford Dam is real Nice.
Stn Mtn might not be RC friendly.

Depending on the day I would come out to play.
Im getting into Nitor On road racing so that will take up some time.

I just need to make a new chassis for my TLT, then I'd be up for something close by. No outta state stuff during the school year.

We could set up a nice rock course on Fishy's cool new astroturf.

Twin Axles are fine?

2.2 rules state 12.5 wheelbase, and 12.5 trackwidth, but this event won't be super strict. If possible try to stay with in these limits.

Gates will be about 18 inches wide

I should have my 2.2 done in about two weeks. I live about 15 min from Buford Dam so I will try to make the next GA event.

Talked to the UTRCRC guys and they run gates at 16 inches minimum width, so we will probably do the same.

Pumpkin Pumpkin Peter Eater Rock Beater.

Just an idea.

Buford Dam is a nice place. CT has had one earlier this year there. Stone mountain will not let you. They said that it will destroy the plant life growing on the rocks. It's not like walking all over the rocks doesn't do that already. But anyways. I would do the Dam. They got some great rocks.

I held a comp at Buford Dam in May, and I wasn't aware of any another event held at Buford Dam.

Buford Dam is nice, but its more rock than we need for 2.2s

Can Add Sammy to the list for this Event.

I recall someone posting over on CT about the event we held at Buford Dam.
