|  Allatoona Dam This spot is close to Allatoona Lake Dam. Ranges from huge boulders to small pebbles. Very sticky and jagged. Located in Cartersville off I-75 exit 290 Hwy. 20. Head east off the ramp and turn right at the first light next to the Wendy's onto Hwy. 20 spur. Follow Hwy. 20 spur about 4-5 miles and it will dead end at a barricade. Turn left onto the road right before the barricade. Follow that road until you get to a small parking lot. Park there and you can't miss the rocks. | Probably not until this winter.  This time of year the water level is too high and most of the rocks are underwater. |
