Default Kellogg Creek Boat Ramp

Located on Lake Allatoona off Kellogg Creek Road in Acworth. Hwy 92 exit number 277 off I-75. Head east. Go 1 mile turn left at traffic light onto Hunt Road. Go through 4-way stop and road becomes Kellogg Creek Road. Entrance to Payne campground on right after about 4 miles. Enter through Payne campground and head to the boat ramp. If the campground is closed go another tenth of a mile to the second entrance. At the top of the parking lot there is some steps that lead down a bank to the spot. Sometimes you may have to pay $3 to get in if the campground is open.

id like to add the park ranger told me parking for cars was free. in the winter time they dont care where you park, but in the summer they are pretty strict about parking in "car only" spots.

The bad thing is that most of those rocks are underwater during the summer months. At least now that the drought is over and the lake is at full pool.
