Buford Dam (Lake Lanier) is the best spot around.

I've gone out to Chastain Park in Atlanta, got a small but good section there. Went out to Red Top Mountain State Park for some hiking, had some sharp rocks along lake alatuna(?). Rocks proved too sharp for my Nylint 1/18th, but I will be back there to conquer them after I modify it some.

Your very close to me then. I mountain bike a lot and I have found a lot of great spots at Ft. Yargo in Winder. I am still keeping my eye out for more places that are closer though. I am clearing out a spot in my back yard right now.
