This is a great spot in northern Forsyth county for scalers and crawlers. It is about a one mile hike to the top of the trail, but the top has great rock formations for any kind of RCing you can think of. |

Got to make it out there yesterday. This place is awesome! Definitely worth the mile hike. I went around to the Bettis Tribble Gap Rd entrance and hiked up that side 'cause the lady at the visitor's center said it was an easier hike, and I'm lazy. Got a few pix and a lot of video. Here's the page link with the pix. Scroll all the way down: Weekend Warrior project!! And the video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCvPpVv0WLE My girlfriend took our SLR camera with her on vacation so I had to use an old point n' shoot. This place would be really great for a GTG or scale comp. Hoping to get back out there really soon. |
