Another successful HILO comp. RESULTS of comp.#2

It was another fun day in hilo. The turn out was only as much as last months one. Nine total drivers, three of them was new. Only becouse the spacial ordered new axials showed up a day befor the comp. not enough time for the new drivers to finish and test there trucks for today.
Our sponsers showed there support with banners and prizes(BOLO grafics, R/C Heavan and Aloha Hobbies). We had beautiful weather for a change and it was a blessing to have this wonderful weather on this day. We started the comp. a little earlier this time, with the help of Robin and L8t. All drivers showed up on time, drivers meeting was productive, and the course was a very much more user friendly. The turn out on spectatores was also a good number. Time allowed us to set up a third course. which was a great Idea. Or we will have been done about 1:30 p.m.

Here are the results of todays comp.

1st place- Kevin 18 (-7,28,-3, bonus on course #1) SW2
2ndplace- Jerome 36 (13,14,9, bonus on course #1) axial
3rd place- Mike 59 (29,13,17) custom
4th place- Rob 66 (31,0,5) axial
5th place-ABE 67 (4,23,40 bonus on course #1) 2.2 clod cane?
6th place- Shawn 72 (26,24,22) SW2
7th place- Tatum 74 (36,25,13 bonus on course#2) BMVii
8th place- Ryan 83 (40,40,3) SW2
9th place- L8t 87 (17,40,30) custom


Two goals of mine was fullfilled taday. One is making today a great comp.

The next thing that I was able to do is to place better than Tatum and his BMV11

Rock race timed grudge mach was taken by jerome.

Congats Kevan, Jerome and Mike! Wish I could have been there. Looks like you had a good turn out and great weather. Noticed some changes on some rigs, everyone must have been busy testing and tuning for this comp.

Well I sure as hell had a good time. Thanks to all you guys for another good comp. I guess I came with the right tires this time, and the practicing sure paid off. Oh yes… being married to a miner’s daughter made the first place prize perfect for me (Thank you Aloha Hobbies). Anyway I managed to squeeze off a few pictures. I taught I would post shots showing some of the technicalities of the course. Enjoy!

here is some of my pics i know its late but been busy. we made the courses way more easy. the lava is just brutal on the trucks but hey its fun, alot of breakage. the first comp the course was way to hard, this course was alittle to easy, hopefuly well get it right at least once. but we all had fun and thats the main thing!!!!!
