You can check out aloha hobbies, RC motorsorts hawaii, sandy flemings. Obivously you got net access, so you can just mapquest them for directions.

As for comps, there is a GTG this sunday. Check out the fathers day thread.

Also, if you are into grip racing or drifting, there is car show with demo racing & drift comps at Aloha Tower Marketplace on saturday around noon.

Thanks, I'm not sure when I'll get it together unless DTP wants to loan me his axles and transmission that he has no use for anymore.

I'm gonna have some custom servo/battery plates made up for my AX10. If anyone is interested I can have some extras made in my batch. Plates will be made of 1/8" (3.175mm) aluminum and will have no finish on them. It will located servo lower on axle on the right side. The battery plate will be on top of the center section and extend over the left side of the axle. The battery plate will also incorporate 4-link mounts. LMK if your interested and I'll find out more on Monday.

FYI, this might be a violation of the vender feeler rule, maybe not.

Anyway, nice plates. Too bad you need a berg to be competitive now.

I see Axials, TLTs, & WKs going away like the TXTs did in super. Or you could use them to build a 1.9.

I don't think so. But, I do see a 2.2 shafty class in the future. Ban the bergs!

Not sure about the vender rules. I'm not making these to sell for profit. I just figured if I was going to have something made and others want something similar, then just run a bunch for those people. Anyway I dont see the berg taking over any time soon.

I didn't figure you were, just giving you a heads up.

For all of you that don't think the bergs are taking over & going to make shaft axles absolete, look at the results. Comp wins all over the nation.

I'll go out on a limb & say it......in the HRCC, it's a 2 man race. I really believe either Alan or I will have the lowest score on every course untill someone else gets one. It's that good.

Please don't take that the wrong way, because we have some very good drivers. I just really feel that we have a MAJOR advantage over everyone else.

Look at it this way, you have a trans mounted on your chassis, we don't. You have to hope your mechanical dig engauges & disengauges, we don't. Yes, Ryde has more ground clearance than us, maybe shut d's too. But they also have heavy trans, digs, & motors up there too. We could run 4" if we wanted with virtually no weight up there.

I am taking it the wrong way (fingers removed)

Nah I have no doubt in the advantages the Berg's have over the competition. It will still be kewl to see what happens from here on out? And I'm sure more Berg's will be hitting the rocks in Hawaii!

I am now excepting donations for my help Xtant3150c get a Berg fund
Every Donation will get 5 minutes of runtime for every $1 dollar donated (but only if I get enough to actually buy one ;) ) No refunds will be given!

ok, ok............point proven on that one. i will say that the Berg's are so impressive that even i am thinking about getting a set................but not right now. i still have faith (even though i am reminded that i am out of the running for the championship title) in ole' faithful pimp slap. main thing is that i come out to have fun with you guys. just don't put too much of a beating on us with your low scores.

me and shut d's too can run higher than 4"......................we're just going to have to run hood scoops for the motors cause they'll be so high and 2 pc. driveshafts for the front and the rears. the drive shaft angle will be crazy !!!!

I would have to agree with DTP on this 1. Although I didn't comp it at the last comp I did run it and it took some lines that was near impossible if not. With all the new chassis's out and everyone limiting the articulation I noticed was more TT affecting the trucks. You man not see it under load and what not but if you climb with the front left tire most trucks will lift the right until you unload the chassis. And I don't think its really possible to eliminate it, all you can really do is try to dail as much out as you can and learn to drive with it. Now if you learn to drive with the twist you could use it to your advantage in some areas.

With the berg I did notice some stall. And my dig is tempermental with engaging and strength.

Well still debating what to use next season cause old shafty didn't give me the shaft this past comp. And I got it tuned pretty close to how I like it and all the time I invested. Oh well will see.

mike
BTW: Remember this is just my OPINION and if you feel I came off the wrong way I'm sorry. Just ment to post something short and kept goin alittle to long. Just like right now. oh and for you that know me I'm like this and I just can't hang up the phone or stop talking. Im always late for something. hehehe
