Talking Hawaii Chit-Chat Thread

With the continued growth of our club & crawling here, I think a thread for general chit-chat is needed.

Seems like the talk smack thread is the most popular & I don't want that image to be attached to us. There are so many drama queens & assholes on this site. I think we need to distance ourselves from that. I know that I myself have been one of them at times. I want a more positve appeance for our club & state.

This is the place for whatever you want to talk about.

Please keep the smack talk fun & refrain from personal attacks

Love always,
The new & improved DTP

Thanks Ryde for an awesome comp yesterday. It was good to see more new peeps showing up & even some spectators. Lots of interest in this crawling "fad".

Ian & Beeg John, missed you guys yesterday. But you're probably glad your not sunburnt like the rest of us.

Good idea DTP, starting this thread. The comp was fun, but those rocks down there are all nuts. I do like the new format. Helps keep the action moving.

Sorry I never made it out to check out the comp. I'm a townie so making the trek out there is a lil hard for me. Expecially with the gas prices :-( and my sub 10mpg vehicle. Maybe I'll be at the next one if its closer to town.

I would'nt mind knowing this also ;)

Anyone happen to know if any of the local shops have this in stock?
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSAT2&P=7
It's the Axial Radio/Transmission Mount Set. I am looking for it to get the skid plate so I can clean up my 1.9 Tuber setup.

ThanX

ThanX Ryde

I'll ask Kila next time I see/talk to him

I think the lanai lookout is going to be closed until September.

Lanai lookout, the one closer to the gun range, is still open. The blow hole look out, the one above sandy beach, is the one that is under renovation. I personally prefer the one by the gun range (Lanai lookout).
