So if I understand correctly, the P-94s are going to be ready in a couple of weeks, while the original's are being phased out? I need a 35T and 45T motor, plus some batteries. Will send you an e-mail shortly John. I don't care which of the torquemaster versions they are, just want to actually be prepared for once when the Losi comp crawler gets released (although final gearing would be nice to know!) ! |

The p-94s are being wound right now, the OG TM is being produced again and should be ready around end of march or so. P-94 version should be in late next week. |

And then another question. Can I lock the motor and turn the armature to adjust timing and get more torque out of these motors so I lose some clod stall? Last edited by rc4x4crawler; 01-30-2009 at 11:26 PM. | |

Two magnets were the OG design, but there were a few hundred 4 magnet versions that were sold. Small difference in speed, slightly faster. If you want to change timing, just loosen the endbell and rotate it. You want it to be faster with advanced timing. If you look on the can there should be timing marks. Don't wrench the comm, that is just a cheater trick for stock motor drivers. When you advance timing you will lose torque at the motor, so if you gear down to compensate for the extra wheelspeed you could gain torque at the tire. Otherwise you may not get more torque, depending on the voltage and wind of the motor. |

Drag brakes are even weaker on 4 mag cans. What ESC are you using?

| Really. Well I guess I thought that because I was running a 4 magnet 45t on an FXR and then switched to 2 magnet sidewinder. But now in the Berg I run Mamba max with to integy motors. It could be the motors I guess.

Integy motors have poor drag anyway. Tekin controllers have a bit more drag than Castle controllers.

Both will perform near identical, I have no preference between the two really.
