I need some replacement brushes looks like. I got one comp out of one of my motors and it stoped. Pulled the brushes and they are very wore and one has the edge broke off it.

I have a large order of motors in progress right now. Should be two weeks max on it to arrive, maybe a bit less.

I have added more laydown brushes to inventory, otherwise you can use any Reedy type laydown brush.

I just ordered 2 yokomo can 40t motors. So for a berg setup I just need to rotate the endbell on the back motor 180 degrees. Any other tips at minimizing stall?

If the timing is at zero, you can just reverse your motor wiring

How does this Torquemaster work with Novak Goat 2s? Does it have any issues?

So the new PRO you are geting in 2 weeks or so ...will have stand up brushes like the current yokomo build.

How will the comm relate to the yokomo & my old laydown PROs?

New new pro will have the fat comm and standup brushes. The only change from your laydown pro is the brush orientation.

Not yet, but they are in process of being wound. About a week or two depending on shipping time.

A laydown brush can produce more torque for a given wind/ voltage combination however, and a 35t laydown will spin faster than the standup. In other words, the laydown brush will pull more amperage. The laydown brush at zero timing is just a beast for arcing on the comm however, and from my testing and customer feedback I have determined that laydown brushes cause short motor life.

To offset the difference in brushes you could go down a few winds on the motor, say from a 35 to a 33. OR you can just run more voltage and get the best of both worlds. 55t on 6s is awful nice.
Man motors are confusing. So, right now I'm running 45 Epic crawler motors in my berg and they seem very unpredictable. I don't know which style brushes they have. So, I'm willing to wait for some TM motors but with the standup brushes do I want to move down to 35s? Will it still crawl slow with 35 and 3s lipos and just have more wheel speed? Will they heat up, the faster motor at lower speeds? What's the latest ETA on TM motors?

Just got a small amount of motors in, 35, 45 and 55t (all still laydown brush). I still have another 80 left to be wound up, and another order placed at the factory for production. It is a 8 to 10 week process to get them in hand, so you guys can understand why I have trouble keeping them in stock all the time!

Epic uses their own special size brush. Between a standup and laydown brush the speed difference is very minimal. Keep with the wind that you like.

I like 35t on 3s. They do heat up more than a 45t would, but you also get more power.

Will a FXR have any problems running 2 35 turns? Some friends said they would get the ESC hot and fry it?

I woudn't try it with handwounds. The FXR pro is the correct model of Tekin brushed controller, or my Torquemaster esc.
