I am glad that I got on the internet at 9:15 last night to check some email. 4hr & sold out is rediculous. I find it amazing that those motors are in such high demand and yet still fairly cheap. I cant wait till next week so I can see for myself.

Thank you fellas!! Time to get up early and start packaging! Looks like there is two 45t motors left, one order was incomplete. I sent an email to my winder and the remaining 65 or so 4 magnet cans will now be wound with 35 and 45 turns. Once these are gone this particular build will no longer be available, as the factory does not make them anymore. I will be able to get the same can and armature with a different endbell however, but I am still waiting on the factory to contact me back.

Thank you Mr Holmes! After watching and playing with Tanis's truck I was sold on one of these. I think half of the EWRCRC club is going to be running these. |

Yeah 7 went to me. Most were for other club members that didn't have the funds right now or are deployed in the air force. |

Yes I know. Thanks. JRH, What is the performance difference between the 4 magnet & 2 magnet units? |

The four magnet weighs a bit less and has less drag brake. It is also a touch faster (ie less torque), but if you drive the two variations side by side you wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

How does the drag brake on these compare to something like an integy lathe?

Worlds different. Integy would be a 1 out of 10, Torquemaster would be 9 out of 10
