Hey JRH. Any idea on when you will get 30t motors again? I saw in the above post that it would be 3 months but does that apply for 30t?

Also. How does the Drag Brake differ from the 4 magnet design? And is the 2 magnet Drag brake still better than the integy v11 35t?

Hey Steve

How bout a little more detail on the difference of the HH motors compared to the Integy's? I guess the drag brake will hold better .....

I'm am seriously considering dropping the coin for the HH Torquemaster Pro's.

Some of the locals are pushing the $15 Integy's pretty hard

I want BETTER !!!

I apologize in advance for my newbness .....

Of course anything you can add JRH will be much appreciated as well.

The drag brake was the first thing. The start up seemed smoother plus they're smoother through the lower rpm's. Maybe the 4 magnet thing??? I pulled 1 apart to look it over, they are top notch quality built. I recommend them If you can catch them, they don't seem to hang around long.

If the wind is out of stock on my site, I don't have it.

Maybe three months from now for motors that use the same replacement parts. Factory gotta make them again.

I will be using random mod motors in the mean time, to get us past the hump so to speak. This will still take a few weeks to wind up, I hope to have them done by Christmas time.

As for the difference between two mag and four mag, the two mag is a bit slower and it has more braking power.

Looks like I had some 30t in stock that wasn't on the site. Silly me, 5 30t left in the Ti can.

After these are gone I will be switching to the p-94 can for a bit, while more Ti type cans are being made.

I am building an ax10 trail truck. I want to mud and trail ride at scale events. but still handle tough ascents. what motor do you reccomend? i was thinking the cobalt 7t. if that is the direction i go and i run it on a 7cell pack, will a tekin rebel 2 esc work? at what voltage do i really need to beef up the esc?

is sas on their site it has a 10t limit, is this hold true even if it is the cobalt motor?

The Cobalt is about like a 27t motor if you don't gear it too crazy. It is contructed differently than normal 540's.

If you want a trail truck, a 30 or 25t is a good choice, or the Cobalt puller of course. The Tekin rebel is a good choice if you can get it for a good price.

wait so if it is like a 27t then do you reccomend the 7t cobalt puller or is there something different?

It is like a 27t in amp draw, but the speed is slower so it has more torque.

Cobalt puller 7t or a 25 or 30t TorqueMaster is my recommendation.

You probably got pinions for the mini T, any normal 540 pinion will fit.

Your site is showing that you have a 45t non-Pro hand wound in stock.
What is the difference between your pro and non-pro hand wounds?

Would a hand wound 45t have as much torque as a non-hand wound 55t ?

You mean the TorqueMaster P-94? The difference is very small. The can is vented, and the comm is 7.5mm instead of 9mm. It will perform very similar since it is also handwound.

If you mean any of the integy motors, the difference will be huge. A handwound 35t will have more torque than a machine wound 55t.

Thanks for the reply.
My Axial has a 27t in it now, and its dreadful.
I cant creep and crawl very well at all. I was playing with a buddies that has a 55t and a 65t, and I loved that I could creeeeeeep.
But, I would like to keep a bit more wheel speed than his 65t had, so I am bumping mine up to a 7 cell vs. his 6 cell.
But I am still trying to decide on the motor to use.
I understand that these hand wounds have great toque, but does that mean you can get them to creeeeeeep also?
For example, if I get a 35t hand wound, can I creep as slow as a 55t non-hand wound can?
