Default Lipo for your Crawler!

I just got in some new lipo packs for crawlers, and they are just what we need
I have done extensive testing and data logging to try and recommend the RIGHT pack for you, and nothing less.
Getting a lipo pack that doesn't have proper discharge rates will shorten the life greatly, and waste your money!
Here is the current line up:

2.2 single motor packs:

single 55t 540 motors and slower:

single 45t 540 motors and slower, Crawlmaster outrunners, Revolver Black Outrunners:

**Can be used on handwound 35t motors, but battery life may be reduced**

Dual Motor Packs/ High Power Packs

Dual 35t and slower, single 20t, Cobalt Pullers, Outrunners over 5 ounces

And now an inexpensive high discharge rage for a limited time!

I run the two cell 2200 pack in my comp rig, and the two pullmaster motors are real POWER hogs.
The pack does wonderfully, doesn't miss a beat, doesn't warm up, and keeps a high voltage throughout the run.
Top speed is around 15mph with current geardown
I highly recommend the 2200 packs for all competitive BERG setups, they will yield long cycle life and top notch power.

Any questions, just ask!!

Great news John!

So would this pack be the right choice for my rock racer with the 23T HHH if I want to run two of them in series for 14.4 volts?

That would be a great choice IMO. I can get it in a 4 cell pack if you wanted a single chunk. I have ran my 20t on 4s 16C 2100 cells and they did OK, but the extra margin of the 20C cells is needed for pack longevity IMO.

Great! This is just what I've been waiting for to get this rig going.
I think I prefer the two 2S packs so I can switch to 7.2V on the fly.

WOW, just saw the prices of these things and well ....

would any of these packs work good with your faster 540 motors like say the 11T, 13T, 15T, or 17T?

Question

Would the 3S 2200 pack be great for a heavy 2.2 rig with a CC Mamba Max ESC, 35T Warrior motor, Dig servo, and JR 9100T steering servo? Or should I go for the 3S 1300?

Thanks

Personally,I'd go with the 2200 over the 1300. That's what I'll be getting for my 2.2 running similar electronics. If you ever decide to get or run a cobalt puller,I feel the 1300 will have a real hard time keeping up. I've got some 1300 lipos and a 2100 lipo(all 3 cells). The 1300's don't like the pullers appetite very well. They drain down fast and get pretty toasty The 2100 runs allot longer and barely gets warm.

I can. I chose the 20C packs for the 2200mah because the motor won't burst as much amperage when stalled on 2 cell as compared to 3 cell. The tap that comes on them is compatible with hyperion but smaller. Plug them into the 4s slot if you have a multi-tap, all the way to the right side of the tap.

2200 all the way. As recommended in the first post I would not use a 1300 pack on anything faster than a 45t motor.

I have been running the 11.1 1650 on my Berg and have had no issues at all. I have about 100+ cycles through the battery and have not had an issue.

I would use either the 1300 or the 2200 packs. If you drive really hard the 2200 pack is a good idea. If you don't get wedged much and need a smaller pack the 1300 will work just fine- or even the 1650. Franky is probably running the 1650 on a revolver black, but I like to overestimate your needs just in case.

3 cell lipo on a revolver no matter what though.

I just got my Black Knight 2200mah 7.4 packs in. I understand now about putting the plug all the way to the right on the 4S plug on the Hyperion multi connector. It is quite snug, should I shave the tabs a little, and what settings should I use on the Hyperion 0606i AC/DC charger? Standard 2S and follow the ratings for the battery?

I'd like to know before I solder on any connectors.

THANKS!!

Waiting for more now, they are a very popular size. I may have to find another source for the size as the X-caliber brand takes a while, the factory could take 6 weeks to fill the order.

You could shave one of the tabs, but I keep mine intact since it does plug in.

2s lipo, 2200mah, it will charge at 2.2 amps. Nothing more to set.
