Hey, has anyone run one of these on 2s A123 1100mah? Just wondering how it would be on the lower 6.6 volts.
Would these cells keep up in a 1s configuration(30amp)
Any idea JRH?
thanks

2s 1100 mah a123 would work well, although wheelspeed may not be stellar. Totally fine on the 1p configuration though.

What do y'all mean by "hanging brushes"? I'm wondering if it's the same issue I've been having. Over time my motor would basically stall. I could flick it with my finger and it would start up again, but it would soon stall again after a little while. I ended up pulling the brushes out, cleaning it with brake cleaner thinking it was just dirty, re-installed the brushes and dabbing some oil on the bearings, and it's pretty much worked fine since with no stalling.

Is there something else going on I'm unaware of?

FWIW, I think I may have one of the earlier runs of this motor, too, but I'm not really sure.

Thanks,
Tommy

Hey John, I put one of these motors in my TLT based MRC on a axial tranny. Geared it low, but I have no drag brake at all. Got it on a Rooster ESC. How could I inprove my drag brake, maybe a different ESC.

Other than that great little motor, got lots of wheel speed for my rig. And the weight difference from the 35t motor I had in there really helped my CG.

These motors are currently on hold for the next production. I would recommend any of the Reedy, Epic (trinity), or Novak mini motors as a quality motor.

If you need replacement parts, I still have stock in the replacement part section.

I expect to produce more in the next three to six months.
