I got around to installing my BR-Xl today. I had no Reverse. I reloaded the firmware. Still no reverse. I loaded the beta, and same thing.
Anything else I am missing? I swapped in a Mamba Max and it worked fine.

Thanks

With a 35T Warrior on 3C, 30% was just about right. I didn't here the shuttering. It was shutter a little when I tried to push it around.

With a 30T HH HW in my scaler on 3C, the Holmes Hold works good at 60%.

I like the quiet mode. The motor is definitely quieter at low speeds. I didn't realize that it turned the tones off....I was kinda confused at first.

Make sure it's not Highpowered Brushed mode, you want Brushed Reversing.

Good thought, but no dice.
It was correctly set to Brushed Revering.

Thanks

Yeah, quiet mode makes it arm with just a soft beep. I wanted it to be overall, just as little noise as possible. No waking up the baby and dog with an arming tone, and no racket next to my ear when I am trying to enjoy the scenery in the woods.

Tekin 45T's and 3s lipo It does it at 50% and gone at 30% But the Holmes hold is amazing. This Will not roll. Just need to fix the shudder and it will be golden.

The higher the hold torque, the more likely to shudder. It is a gain controlled feedback loop, similar to how a servo works.

Yes, I will give it a try on a different single motor.
Forward works great, It was nice and smooth. The same setup works fine with the Mamba.

If another motor doesn't do the trick, you can send it back for a repair or replacement.

John - Whats the verdict on a pair of XL's wired up to an AR6000 with a 7950TH on 3S...

At the moment both ESC's are powering the AR6000 and the servo - Is this ok or am I better off installing a 10amp CC BEC and direct powering the servo and just let one XL power the AR6000?

Cheers...

When do you expect to have more BR-XL's in stock?
Oh, and 35T handwounds also?

Thanks

Ktbone, tcs has the 35t in stock if you need the motor sooner...or you may be in the same boat as me waiting to save a couple bucks in shipping since i'm using them together

Hello,
I sent you an e-mail through your website a few days ago and haven't recieved an answer so I'm trying this. I bought an BR-XL ESC and the reverse has now stopped working all together. Forward works fine and so does the steering but the reverse is just not there. It did work originally but not now. Please let me know what I need to do to get it working.
Thanks

Could be a bad unit. Were you running the Holmes Hold when it stopped?

Send it on in, I will replace it out. Include the details of what you were running and how to contact you.

A week or so on the ESCs. Not sure on the motors, probably two weeks.

It would work with just the internal BEC, but some people have found they get a bit more power with the external BEC. It really depends on how much power you are needing really. For comp use with a single ESC, I would probably use an external BEC as well.

I was having the same problem with my TorqueMaster, wouldn't go into reverse.

I just kept trying to calibrate it to my controller and finally got it to work. Also

after like a min of use my TorqueMaster gets warm fast..Is this normal? Has not

overheated yet...but also have not given it a good run on a pack yet. Running

4Cell, two 35hh handwounds. No BEC Thanks.
