okay

so the drag slows you down when you let the trigger on the transmitter move towards the neutral position, but once the trigger on the transmitter is at or in the neutral position, the hold brake are activated. and when the motor stops spinning i can then apply reverse.

so there is three different types of reverse? i only know of two.

instant-like on entry level rc where all you have is forward or reverse
double tap is where you would move the trigger up once to stop and once more to get reverse
delayed, i have always that delayed was double tap. what is delay and are my other to definitions correct?

not sure if it was posted already but what is the esc's limitation to dual motors?

Not yet, I am having to find a printer that can do what I want. Maybe a week or two out, depending on turnaround time.

these esc's are great. i finally got my rig put together and got to test out my br-xl. its got a ton of hold power and it super smooth on the low end it . i highly suggest this esc to anyone even considering it. the bec is more than enough to easily move my futaba s9157 and hs-225 servos

Got mine on Friday John. Thanks! Can't wait to get it wired up.

Thanks for labeling the inputs. I was thinking that the bullet connectors were for the battery not the motor.

delay reverse is something more designed for touring cars/buggies/monster trucks, fast stuff. when you push the trigger forward it applies brakes, and after a programmed time (many cases its 3 seconds) it will go into reverse. its far from ideal for a crawler, and in most cases speed controls with delay reverse dont use drag brakes or hold brakes.

you are correct on instant and double tap.
