| Cobalt puller 454 and 500, last run
Just got a shipment in of the Cobalt Puller 454 and 500 series. This will be the last run of them, so when inventory is done that is all for the smaller brushed Cobalt motors. I am in process of getting the KV of the various winds and will put the data on my site when I get done. These motors are great for lightweight rigs! |

I think both were 14t motors, I just got the slowest ones I could find. I have the KVs up now.

So will we still be able to get replacement parts for these motors after the current inventory has run out? I am really considering getting one but if it will not have any support after this run I will look at some other options. Thanks --Mike

The 454 and 500 will not have parts available once these are gone.

Sorry John, but what about the brushes for the 500's, can we still get these? You're motors are awesome, mine are barely run in, but I know I'll wear one out sooner or later. |

Thanks for the reminder, I still need to order some up. Getting brushes should be no problems.

I have some armatures on my way so I can custom wind them. Looks like I may have 3x 14t arms left here however, I will PM you when I double check the remaining orders to be sure they aren't spoken for.

Will you be making something diffrent to replace these motors, or something better? Seeing as how popular they are why would you remove them? So if the website says out of stock am guessing there are no more 14t correct? |

Correct, inventory on my site is accurate. I have 150 some odd cans left, and am working on the replacment for them. Hopefully I can use the same armatures. In the mean time, I will be offering pattern wound arms in about two weeks. If I can't get a very close replacement going I will likely pursue a brushless motor as the replacement. This is a very odd sized brushed motor to get produced again. The biggest issue is finding the armature laminations, second biggest issue is the brush hood. Same for the full size puller. |

Hey John...quick question. How can you tell the difference between the 454 & 500? I have 3 of this size and I could have swore I bought the first pair as 454's and then I just picked up a 500 from ya this go around. All three of the them have the "400" sticker on them...and looking at your site, the dimensions for both are the same. BTW...like the new steel motor plates vs. the older aluminum ones |
