I didn't have any missed emails I was aware of, I'll search through and see if I can find it. Feel free to send another one too, I can get you running again.

John thanks for the responses and great customer service. I sent both motors off today. Figured since one was going I may as well send the other and have them freshened up.

I must say I love my Crawlmaster 540's! They are the most awesome motor I've had to date and I'm glad I got them. Just a question. Are you going to offer the new 2012 "Checkpoint" brush hoods for retro fit on older Crawlmaster 540 motors that currently have the 'stand-up' brushes/hood? Just wondering if It would be a worthy upgrade in the future? What might be any advantages of the checkpoint style hood vs the stand up brushes? Thanks.

I won't be able to offer the checkpoint endbells separately until we get the tooling running again. Team Checkpoint is being flaky on contact, so I am flying to Japan the first week of May to sort things out for them.

Glad you guys are liking your motors as much as I do!

Hi John!

I just picked up a pair of CC Sidewinder micros that I am going to use with the 2012 Team edition checkpoint can motors that I got from you, I will be running these on my XR10, and I wish to know what do you recommend for me to set them up to with the castle link.

I will be taking them back to the LHS where I got them from since I have a Mac, and CC does not support Castle link.

Also what do you think about piggy the ESCs toguether? that is how I run 2 FXRs in my Berg and my Futaba 6EX twin stick radio without a glitch.

Thanks for your time!

Juan

Go with full drag settings on the micros. You can shove the ESCs together, just watch the heat at first until you know how they run.

I'm interested in your

2012 Team Edition CrawlMaster Pro 540

I have several motors with checkpoint end bells and love them.

My Question; Will you carry replacement brushes and springs for the checkpoint end bell?

The Checkpoint end bell and brush system adds to the motors hold abilities..

Click on the dropdown menu, checkpoint brushes and springs are listed.

We will be restocking CM motors in about a week. My comm welder went down and it put a hold on production for a bit. We are still accepting custom orders however. I also have a small batch of 13t arms that just finished, so there will be a few on the site later today.

Got my 16t's back from rebuild. Thanks for the great Customer Service John.

We had just moved and my wife had went back to the old house to check for mail. I get this text that says "You got a big package from John Holmes???" I was like that is not the John Holmes you are thinking of. But with street names like Longfellow and Sexton it did seem kinda funny.

Thanks
