Couldn't find a single video on You Tube... Sad day. I have my motor, but I'm waiting on other parts to come in before I'll be able to test her out. What kind of speed should I expect out of this motor? Thanks, and keep up the great work!

I have a TTC style scaler and am wondering if this motor would be a good choice.
Truck is about 8lbs, has a waterproof BRXL, 3s 1800 mah or 2250 mah lipos (25c or better), is geared VERY low right now (underdrive in both axles and 10-97 on the axial trans).
Looking for something I can have ASAP and will give me decent low end control and power to motovate it up the occasional steep climb.
Think this one will fit the bill?

It sounds like a great match for your needs. About 12 degrees of timing would keep the brushes happy with your low gearing and 3s.

I'm starting another batch of them this afternoon and will have more shippable by Thursday or Friday. A good substitute that is ready to ship immediately would be a 13t CrawlMaster build. You will have better low speed control, but sacrifice some torque and brake.

The speed depends on the gearing and rollout!

These are brushed. They're rated by turns not KV as in brushless motors.

I have one of these and I can attest to whats written above. Tire chirping offroad torque with wheelspeed that rivals the best brushless motors on the market. I've owned nice brushed cans up to high end 4 pole sensored brushless motors and this is by far my new favorite . If you plan on slapping one of these in you ride you had better be prepared for it to find ALL of the weak links in the drive train for you. Simply put, I love this motor!

I live close to the beach and I also love a good sloppy mud hole. I use wheel speed and 2.2 rc4wd rock crushers along with a 8000mah 2s lipo to conquer obstacles. I am using a scx10 chassis with Robinson HD tranny gears. Spur is stock. 14tpinion. Would this motor suit my needs. If not what would u suggest. Im open to pinion/spur gear changes as long as I still have some decent wheel speed. I dont do any "rock" crawling. Just a straight up mud and trail rig. As u can see below.

Hi

I see you write the Trail Master pro is a 27T motor - but I need to know the speed. A 27T motor is not just a 27 motor as they can have different RPM per volt.

So HH what RPM per volt does the Trail Master Pro 27T come out with?

Is it ok to run the trailmaster pro on 4s or 3s only and what sort of timing setting should I be looking at in a wraith with the stock pinion.

All brushed motors require maintainance . Looks like that one never got disassembled to get serviced.
