Also for the people that like mud/water. A tub of dielectric grease would be great as I can only find small squeeze tubes of the stuff.

Is that why you don't have novak stuff, no store front?

Yeah Cole82, that is why I dont carry Novak. I cant even get 10% off the going prices even though I am a legitimate business. If you arent storefront, its mighty hard to get a foot into Novak's door.

30 amp Powerpoles, already on order Cheap but powerful servos, on order. Expensive servos, still looking for a good vendor.

Kalamdrar, Ill shoot you a PM about the batteries.

What cell? The site has 2/3A custom packs listed for 1-9 cell quantities. A few clicks builds it up immediately for you.

I should be getting some lipo's in about middle next week. They are the size of a normal 6 cell sub'C pack, but they have longer runtimes. I will post up what I find once I get a chance.

Im waiting for the right BEC to come out before I buy one. UBEC is huge, the knockoff UBEC is wimpy, switching regs are expensive still, and linear regulators dont work for most people. There is one coming out within a few months to solve this though. Digital, cheap, powerful, tiny. Im just waiting.

Is this the one you are waiting for?

10 amp peak sounds pretty good, and it being from Castle Creations sounds even better.

Good to hear, my little Novak was being fussy during the last comp. So I'm anxious to see how well this works.

Do you know any specific number details? It's kinda hard to see what the output voltage is in the small picture.

Try this.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=CSECCBEC

The little enlarge button is just below the original link.

I am hoping to test the MPI reg this weekend, I am also having problems with the novak regs. Running a 1/4 servo under heavy loads tend to wipe out the 6cell 4200 battery. I might try a 2s lipo connected to the MPI regulator and then connected directly to the cs-80 servo. I will post my findings in the Electronics section.

Wow the Castle BEC looks great might have to order one when it becomes available.
JRH is the Castle BEC programmable? either mechanical or using the castle link? The 4.8v-9v output is a large range for a regulator.

Thanks
EDC

They are programmable via usb link. I will offer them programmed from my website since they come with 4.8v output stock. Most guys will want 6v im sure. It is 7 amps continuous and 10amp burst no matter what the input voltage. I was talking to an engineer about how they fixed the RF noise (all switching regs make them) and it is VERY slick. Some smart guys working over there at Castle.

I am thinking of putting it up on preorder for those people who dont want to wait. First I need to finalize the details with Castle and make sure I am getting mine from the first batch. I am really stoked about this.
