So this BEC from Castle is a voltage regulator like the MPI? If so, how long till you think they will become available? I need to get myself a regualtor and was about to pick up an MPI, but if Castle has one coming out with that kind of specs...I will wait till you get your hands on those. I'll just have to crawl crippled till then :-P

Still waiting on Castle for a release date on the Regs. I have MPI regs on the way as well, should get in friday. More servo extensions, battery balancers, plugs, and motors are now available on the site. 4 weeks till the Crawlmaster is available.

Just a new outrunner motor being manufactured specifically for crawling

Its gonna be a HOSS! But light enough for a 2.2 comp rig at 4 ounces.

Nope, I haven't even heard of the betas being done yet.

They are teasing us, and I have already ordered BECs from other companies.

Hey John, any ETA on the new CRALWMASTER?
I'm building a KICK BUTT tuber and that motor sounds like what I need

And other question, will that motor work or work well with the TEKIN MINI RAGE ESC?

The Crawlmaster should work very well with the mini rage. So far I am still estimating the beginning of next month.

Well, what I really wanted to know is when it goes on sale to the general public... you know, those of us who don't get to beta-test stuff...

I thought I read on that thread that Castle Creations MAY BE putting bad-a$$ BECs into their ESCs as we speak, according to Joe Ford. Or did I read that wrong?

That would be something worth waiting for! As I am thinking of dumping my Super Rooster for a Mamba Max.

Castle needs to build this BEC in one of there ESC's.

Beta testing will determine their release date...if there are some changes needed there's no way to estimate how long...if testing shows they're ready for production we'll begin producing them soon. We can produce these VERY quickly...hundreds per day. John got the first beta unit, and another crawler junkie got beta unit #2.

I know you gents push switching regs to the limit...why crawler guys were the first on my list. :smile: As for building this into our ESCs, I think it's safe to assume we're way ahead of you on that one.

do you have any other bateries other then lipo? cause ide rather not buy a balencer and a special charger for it

like a 2000+ mah batt
