same here....if it is anything like when I went from the stock 6 cylinder in my fj-40 to a chevy 383....this could be very very bad

I recommend a slipper clutch to reduce parts breakage. The flywheel effect of the motor keeps the driveline moving if the tires stop instantly.

currently have a slipper, just might need to loosen it a tad. What diameter shaft does this motor have so I can make sure I get the right pinion gear? Also, is it about the same length as a standard 55t lathe or is it shorter/longer?

just kidding, it's on the pre-order page...I'm dumb

1/8" shaft
Near 1.5"x1.5" construction

awesome news. Got the last of my rebuild goodies ordered yesterday so everthing should arrive around the same time. I repainted the chassis and skins just so I could take it out with the new power plant and scratch it all up

Just got mine today. It looks pretty sweet. Nice little touch with the "collector's tin". It has way more power than my revolver. I just can't wait till i get batteries with more than 6 cells
