This will rank up there with the best noob questions of all time, BUT what the diff between inrunner and outrunner for us? We're always running with a gearboxes (unlike planes), so is the diff just the orientation of the windings to stator? Is one better then the other for cars/trucks?

Two questions: 1. Why is there no separate thread for the Revolver S series? 2. Is there an ETA for the next batch of Revolver S 540? |

Outrunners without sensor do cog a bit. Not as much as inrunners with fewer poles though. Revolver S, where the "S" stands for "Sensored", is (from what I've heard) extremely smooth. |

S stands for smoooooth! or sensored. Should be 4 to 6 weeks and we will have a small run of 300 revolver S motors ready to rock. |

It won't be enough to keep inventory until the next batch is finished, so its smaller than it should be!

Now that the Revolver S series seems to be in stock and future resupply not a problem(?) can we please have a separate thread for it here?

* The regular 540 is 14 poles and the stubby is 8 poles, as I've understood it. * There's also a 50g weight difference, which is the deciding factor I ordered a stubby. * The 540 can deliver more power and has a little better efficiency. |

I want the stubby just because it looks cool. Lol probably get the 540 though since it has more power.
