Default Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster (discontinued)

Guess what I just got in the mail

I redesigned the Crawlmaster just a touch. Now it is a sealed can, with 1000kv. Otherwise it is the same Hoss motor you know, with high efficiency and the best magnets on the market. This isn't a motor for weenies!

4.25 ounces
1000kv or 850kv
6-12 cells nimh 2-4s lipo
200*C max operating temp
Near 1.5"x1.5" construction
Sealed can
All Black

Mamba max or Quark 33 recommended.

Looking good Johnrob!

I might have to pick one up, but man your "old" OG Revolver is so hard to give up.

Will you have a weenie edition in the future?

If not, I'll pick one of these up, but heck, If there is going to be an edition just for me, I'll wait.

The OG Crawlmaster is what LEWIS and MzRubi have been running that is eating parts like no tomorrow in thier rigs!

I take it the power is up from the orginal Crawlmaster? This looks like a good upgrade for the super, as the OG Crawlmaster has plenty of power but could use a bit more a touch of the wheelspeed from the higher KV rating of this motor.

Technically, the power is the same. However, it will produce more power at a fixed voltage. So, if you are running 7 volts on the OG crawlmaster at 850kv, you will have more power on 7 volts with the 1000kv Crawlmaster. Higher wheelspeed, higher amp draw.

They love em as long as you have enough geardown to deal with the speed. Once I get my ax-10 I will know better how the stock gearing does with them.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I have plenty of geardown... 110:1 which is too low for 7.4V with the OG Crawlmaster. I am sure the Mamba Max can handle the higher amp draw of the new Crawlmaster and 8 cells.

Looks like I will be placing an order here soon!

I am ordering one now! This will fix all my problems. I haven't broke anything on my crawler in a while. Hopefully this motor will take care of that!

Do you have any packages available with either the mamba or the quark. I'm looking for a setup for a 2.2 rig. TLT axles and Pede trans.
