It will run great Only difference is I run a Sidewinder and not a Mamba Max, and a smaller pinion. R2D, 8T pinion, 3S 2200mah battery, and TLTs. With the 13T you may get a pinch hot like JRH said, and for a crawler you will have TOO much wheelspeed. With the 8T and 11.1V I have tons of wheelspeed, more than enough to jump 8" plus gaps, hit steep climbs and launch the truck up...

hi John, i ordered a cobalt 7t about 4-5 days ago and was wondering if it was from a already finished batch or if they are still being made. its order #2000 and its an international order (Australia). When I ordered, the baxley address for international orders was stored from my last order, so will it be shipped to my paypal address? cant wait to get it. cheers, Seb |

With moderate throttle use it is fine, but your motor will be stronger than the battery. Basically your battery will limit your power.

| 2/3a cuts it, 4/5a are better, sub-C is best. The more power you can feed it, the better. Sounds like a great combination to me. |

The motor does have high wheelspeed and low speed control, as well as lots of power. I would suggest a lipo of at least 40 amps discharge rate for 11.1v use. You will need 2000mah of runtime or more for 45 minutes of crawling. Even with 2000mah hard thrashing could drain it in 20 min though. I carry a 2200 11.1v 25C pack that works very well and holds high voltage under load, the silver knight http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...&cat=10&page=1 |

That's what I've been looking for, someone to just tell me pretty much which pack I need with the puller motor. So far I've had decent luck with the 8cell saddle packs, but I know it would be much better all around on lipo.

To make it a balanced saddle pack it would need to have parallel cells. Maxamps makes some I think. I don't like the concept of it really, packs built with parallel cells. I also don't favor lipo on the front axle because of the lack of space. Can't fit enough on the axle for a high power motor basically.
