it was on sale on the site for several hours...a long time when you compare it to how fast it sold out on 4/15.

That is correct.

The replacement is still a few weeks away for the prototype. It is brushless.

Hi JRH, will a pair of 7T Puller connected in parallel, manage to handle a 45C/90C 6S Lipo, properly geared for more low-end torque?

Here's the plan ..
Mamba Monster ESC
2 x 7t Cobalt Puller
6s 45C/90C
E-Maxx Tranny

Thanks! Ed

All I can say is BOOM 6s lipo, they get fairly warm on 3. If you run them in series you might get away with it, but not parallel.

Yep. I got in the prototype and they didn't make it right, so it will be a ways out still.

What kind of runtime would I get out of the 7T and a 2200 25c 3 cell? I'm looking at making a rock racer, and cant decide what electronics to run

Really depends on your driving. Probably 45 minutes.

Getting more armatures made now, maybe 6 weeks out.

Nope, you will need one ESC for each puller. Even the sidewinder will be hurting.
