Working on it today. I may have found a machinist to replace my old one. Until I either make the tooling myself of find a machinist I won't be able to get more motors done. I will update the thread when I get a solid idea. Quote:
The 7t is quite a bit faster, and not recommended for 3s lipo use. The 10t will generally run cooler (especially on 3s) because of the gearing and voltage limitations that we work with. Quote:
I did have some, can you give me an order number? May have been an error in processing or shipping.

I need a little help. Is the 7t good for a 3s lipo? I have read threw this thread and see yes until a few days ago so now I am not sure I have what I need.

The official answer is no, I don't recommend the 7t on 3s lipo. The unofficial answer is that it works, but you have to be careful of motor heat or else risk damaging the motor. Good for comp use, not good for 2 hour bash sessions.

JRH, I have a 7t puller and it is not working to well right now. I goes in reverse but it takes full throttle for forward but sparks before it starts moving. Or, it doesn't move at all. I am guessing that I got it too dirty and now needs some attention. What do I need to do to send it back to you for repair? Thanks. |

One om my pullers are also acting up, it doesn't sound to bad with no load on it but when i put it back on my lcc moa mount it is loud compared to my other one, i've even changed sides of the motor only and the sound carried so i'm 99% positive its the motor. I also observed that it throws a spark every now and then and it glitches or jitters ever now and then when i'm giving it throttle, and the temps grow really fast

Any idea if the 10t puller will be back in stock? I would like to get two if your still making them. I see you do have the 14t pullers in stock, what kind of wheel speed do they have? I'm looking for a set up for my Losi MOA. Thanks! |

Will a 10t puller work with an FXR on 3s 2100mah 20c in an axial based scaler?

As JRH said, the 7T puller gets hot on 3S. As far as speed goes, the 7T is supposed to be a lot faster, but for my set-up, the 7T is just slightly faster than the 10T. As far as toque goes, the 10T is much stronger than the 7T, again as per my set-up. Personally, I like the 10T better mainly because with the 7T I have to check how hot the motor is every so often (because of my occassional lead 'finger').
