I'll be running dual Sidewiders and 3s 2200 lipo. Just worried there going to get hot turning those cut-n-shut Plowboys
I think the 10t versions would work awesome. That is what I generally use in my supers.

Working on it today. I may have found a machinist to replace my old one. Until I either make the tooling myself of find a machinist I won't be able to get more motors done. I will update the thread when I get a solid idea.

The wind doesn't change the power until you consider voltage. So the 6t is merely faster than a 7 or 10t, and the 14t is merely slower (designed for 6s lipo). Choose what voltage you want to use, then select the wind that matches.

The 7t is quite a bit faster, and not recommended for 3s lipo use. The 10t will generally run cooler (especially on 3s) because of the gearing and voltage limitations that we work with.

My questions are how would the sidewinders take to a 14t and what is the rpm/volt on a 14t? (It's not listed on your site.)

Thanks
I haven't tested the rpm per volt of the 14t yet. I would wager around 1200kv, maybe a bit slower. It works well on 6s, I can tell you that much. The sidewinder should handle the 14t just fine.

I did have some, can you give me an order number? May have been an error in processing or shipping.

Thanks for answering.

Will a sidewinder handle the 10t on 3s 30c 1050's?

The official answer is no, I don't recommend the 7t on 3s lipo. The unofficial answer is that it works, but you have to be careful of motor heat or else risk damaging the motor. Good for comp use, not good for 2 hour bash sessions.

JRH,

I have a 7t puller and it is not working to well right now. I goes in reverse but it takes full throttle for forward but sparks before it starts moving. Or, it doesn't move at all.

I am guessing that I got it too dirty and now needs some attention.

What do I need to do to send it back to you for repair?

Thanks.

One om my pullers are also acting up, it doesn't sound to bad with no load on it but when i put it back on my lcc moa mount it is loud compared to my other one, i've even changed sides of the motor only and the sound carried so i'm 99% positive its the motor. I also observed that it throws a spark every now and then and it glitches or jitters ever now and then when i'm giving it throttle, and the temps grow really fast

Sounds like both of you may have timing or cleaning issues. Sparks indicate the timing is wrong or there is damage to the motor.

Any idea if the 10t puller will be back in stock? I would like to get two if your still making them.

I see you do have the 14t pullers in stock, what kind of wheel speed do they have? I'm looking for a set up for my Losi MOA. Thanks!

Will a 10t puller work with an FXR on 3s 2100mah 20c in an axial based scaler?

That is the plan. I just want to make sure the FXR can handle it.

Cool! I use a TP 3S PowerPro 45C (101A Cont/202A Burst). The FXR can take it!

Yes sir it can. I have run both the 7T and 10T HH Cobalt Puller on my CR01 with a FXR and 3S 2000.

As JRH said, the 7T puller gets hot on 3S. As far as speed goes, the 7T is supposed to be a lot faster, but for my set-up, the 7T is just slightly faster than the 10T. As far as toque goes, the 10T is much stronger than the 7T, again as per my set-up.

Personally, I like the 10T better mainly because with the 7T I have to check how hot the motor is every so often (because of my occassional lead 'finger').

Any info on the 14t pullers? Are you going to have more 10t in stock or not?:?
