what is the lipo cut off voltage for the rx pack?

JohnRobHolmes 12-24-2007 12:59 PM

9.0v. Just watch the voltage and as soon as it beeps at you turn off the TX. I suggest charging it before it hits 10v, as it doesn't have much runtime from 10 to 9v.

mickrcarver 12-24-2007 03:34 PM

order?

yes I was just wondering if you keep your battery packs in stock or if you order as needed then ship? I ordered your 8pack ax10 on sunday the 22nd and still waiting

thanks
mick

If it is on my site and in stock, I have them. PM the order details to me and I can give you more info about it. If it was sent ground shipping I doubt it had enough time to get there, the holiday rush has 2 day shipping taking 5-7 days. 5 day shipping could be 10 to 15 business days.

when are you going to add the scorpion 3032-10 to your site?

also will i need some sort of adapter plate to mount the motor?

-Thanks

John, how soon is the Sidwinder going to be here, and will you be one of the first to get it? I am signed up for the midwest 2.2 challenge, and really want to have a sidewinder in my new rig for the event. Thanks.

I should have gotten a few on my last shipment but I did not, I will get a few on the way today. Is the 10t the wind you want for sure? You will not need an adapter plate, but you will need a 5mm pinion.

I called and couldn't get a solid date for production, so don't hold your breath for the release of the sidewinder. I have mamba max controllers on sale right now so you could get that as a more powerful alternative (they are the same dimensions too).

im pretty sure. i know nothing about motors, all i know is what i've read in the "stickies". do you think i should get the 3032-12 or 3032-8 or stay at 3032-10? which one would have the most lowend torque?the 3032-12?
Thanks

They will all make the same power, but at a different voltage. What voltage do you plan on running?

10 sub c's or a 3 cell lipo

JohnRobHolmes 12-28-2007 04:52 PM

The 8 turn would do you well and give plenty of wheelspeed, the 10t would run a bit slower and give longer runtimes. Both would have lots of power.

YAKIMA RC RACER 12-29-2007 05:30 PM

cobalt puller 10t motor

hey jrh are you gonna get anymore in stock and if so about how long

thanks
chad

JohnRobHolmes 12-29-2007 05:38 PM

Yes, but it will be a month or so before they are available. I have 7t and 5t in stock at the moment.

Thanks for checking John, I think I will wait awhile, I really want the sidewinder.

I was thinking that i would be wrong because both esc's have bec so thats 2x 5v 3A:?:
thanks for watching John"thumbsup"

The BEC will add up, but not exactly double in most cases. Normally there is a stronger BEC with slightly higher voltage, and it will take most of the load. When it gets overloaded the second BEC will kick in. It won't hurt though, so yes it will work.

They will be loud, but it is definatly a small motor for a clod. I would suggest a larger one like the Crawlmaster or BM16.

crawl rookie 12-31-2007 11:10 AM

Thanks John!
so it safe?
What is took one esc hise red wire/black out?
wouldn't that be better?;-)
Thanks already!

JohnRobHolmes 12-31-2007 11:21 AM

Yes it is safe. No need to take one of the red wires out.

crawl rookie 12-31-2007 11:58 AM

Ok thanks"thumbsup"
