hey john, i had bought 2 45t torquemaster 540s from you about a week before nationals and now my front motor stopped working. i tried a new set of brushes and cleaning up the comm a bit but still cant get it to run everytime i put throttle to it. i got it on the bench now and it does the same thing just hooked directly to the battery. a buddy had said he thinks it might be the armature. it doesnt smell burnt or anything and cant see anything wrong with it. it was riunning fine on 2 corses than on the third corse it would run intermitently. i also checked all my other electronics in my rig and they are all fine. btw the motors are in a 2.2 bully.

Hi John, now i have 2 35t on 3s but if i would swap to 4s to keep the same wheel speed 45 t could be the choice?
4s on 55t could be my personal choice to have more torque as i told you in other thread..
do i loose wheelspeed? naturally with 2 torquemaster esc that you said me they are smooth in current control and for start up..
thankssss

John,

I just received 2 of your 35t TM 540's.

#1 these things are sexy. great work.

#2, being that ive never purchased nice brushed motors, I have a Timing question.

my application for these will be in my XR10.

I assume that i will still want 7* of forward timing?

So inorder to adjust the timing, i simply loosen the end bell screws and rotate the end bell counter clockwise, moving the mark on the can over 1 mark on the end bell?

thanks

Sounds like there may be a bad segment on it. Shoot me an email if you have not already and we can get you taken care of.

4s on on 45t will be very close in wheelspeed to what you have. The 55t motors will be slower.

For the front motor, rotate the endbell counter clockwise when looking down on it. 6 degrees is right between the first and second hash mark. For the rear motor, you will rotate the endbell opposite, where there are no hash marks indicated on the endbell.

Yeah, my bad. I explained it wrong. For the front motor the endbell is rotated counterclockwise past zero when looking down on the endbell. The rear endbell is rotated clockwise.

I don't find it now either! I will have to figure out what happened to it. The 35t is closer to 1800kv best I remember, the 45t is around 1400kv.

It used to be with the older handwound motor. Then it went to the disco'd motors section, now I don't find it now either. I have all the numbers saved on another computer, and when I get to that one, I'll post em up.

How will your 20T or 25T motors stand up in a 2.2 scaler on 4s? I have one of your BR-XL speed controls. Any word on if you will have any puller motors anytime soon?
