1 amp would be quickest on the discharge. The C above is the number of discharge cycles.

I am in need of a Lipo set up for my DX3R. It uses only 4AA = 6.0 volts.

Could I use a CC BEC to get it to work? Does the CC BEC have an input voltage cut off to prevent over dischaging of the Lipo?

Thanks bro.

Now, what does the cell LED lights mean while charging?

Also, with a CC BEC, is it safe to over volt my system? I'm running a MM, Hightec 5955 & mini 125 servos. I want to set it at 6.3v.

A green LED means the cell is overcharged, a red LED means it is undercharged I think. It will show which cells are lower or higher than the rest while charging. When it is done they will all be very close to the same.

You can over volt a bit, 6.3 is pretty safe. I have ran mine up to 7.4v with an Air spektrum RX.

1. The motor did not come with any caps. Do you recomend them or are they not necessary?
2. The motor performance seems OK. Not much different than the integy but there is a loud clicky noise coming from the endbell. It seems like the brushes. Is this normal?

My setup is pede tranny 17/86 7.2v moped and dual 645mg. The cc bec is awesome btw.

Thanks
Caps are not needed...

If you find any defects contact John and John can contact us ans we will warranty it if needed, however we will need the old motor back to inspect for FA (Failure Analysis) so we can avoid in the future

That sounds like a good setup. Get the BEC set for 6v and you will be good to go on about anything!
Thanks.

Yep, that would be no problem. I tried to leave enough 14awg on the pack so you could swap back to larger wire if needed.

I just got a cc-01 chassis to do a scale 1.9. I got rid of all my brushed motors. John what would you recommend your this type of chassis.

I like brushless motors but if you think a puller might be better I will go that route. I have a few of your brushless motors that I would love to stick in it.

Tough call. The puller will have lots of power and supurb throttle control. It is long, so you might have to modify the chassis for fit. I don't have a cc-01. The BL motor will of course have no wear, so you can run it for hundreds of hours with no worries.

JRh - I have a HH revolver I got from Dezfan awhile back... it's blue with a black and white glossy Revolver label.

Good for the Axial?

What speed control should I get from you?
Don't want to waste a mamba max on it... well I don't want to pull one from my only working super!

That would be fairly small, I would personally use a larger outrunner. On hills it wont want to hold, but with the new firmware on the Sidewinder it actually might do pretty well.

The sidewinder is mighty nice for the price.

It wasn't the moving that killed me... it was the total remodel of the new place. Wife wanted to make a "few changes"... $25k and 6 months later... we got to move in.

Should I stick with a good brushed 55 turn and a sidewinder?
Oh, by the way... this thing is never going to see the outdoors.
It's my inside truck. So would the little revolver I have work for putting around the house (no comps - I am a clod guy for comps!)

For putting around the house, probably a fine little motor. For using on an indoor course you might want a brushed motor or larger outrunner. I can't wait to see how the new sidewinder firmware works on rolling back startups.

Will there be improved firmware for the Max as well?
I'd hate to think the little guy will end up being better than the big dog.
