That might not be changeable on the 5i, I can't find it either. Don't worry about it then.

Hey John,
Got a couple of questions for you,
First is on a dual Mamba Max setup with a CC BEC, i have the red wires pulled from the MMs and the BEC is set up on a switch.
When i turn the BEC off the lights on the MMs stay on, very dim but still on. Does the MM hold some residual power that's still running the leds?
if so then would it be ok to bypass the MM switches so i only have one to turn on?

Next,
Would it also be ok to bypass the switch on a Mamba 25?

Thanks in advance!

With a mamba max, you will have to have them turned on for them to function. Keep the switches turned on (or hardwired) and pull the red wires. If the MM is still plugged into the battery even with the switch off they pull some current. I just use my battery plug to turn the rig on and off.

I hack the switches off of my mamba 25's and solder the wires together. Plug in = ON.

Hey John,

I have a Mamba Max, Crawlmaster, Hitec HS5955TG Servo and 9cell 1500 Elite Pack All Brand New!! When I try to power up the system after setting up the Mamba Max, I get good power to the servo but nothing @ the MM, no lights no power nada. The MM seems to get a little warm not hot within just a few seconds. Any Suggestions?

Are you are using an external BEC?

It sounds like the ESC doesn't see your radio signal, but it should be blinking all of the lights. The BEC is working but the control board isn't turning on. Give castle a call on this, it sounds like warrenty.

Thanx John,

Thats what I figured. I was also thinking I might order another from you to get me going faster, And when the warrantied one comes in, sell it. How long does it usually take Castle to Warranty or repair?

It depends on the situation and how much stock they have. They should have controllers on monday still, give them a ring and leave a message if needed.

I would say yes, the 9 cell pack will make your internal BEC weak.
