Default Lower link length

Can any of you guys with rigs already measure the eye to eye length of the lower links? I'm trying to pick up some on Vanquishes website and I can't find the info any where. I checked HPI's exploded view and found the part number but they don't tell you the length. BTW the STOCK PLASTIC lower link set is showing every where for 40 bucks. Ouch.

I measured mine and got about 118.5mm front and rear for lowers. I'm going to check with RC4x4 Performance Stainless on facebook to see of they have something that works.

Just to let you know the slots where the links attach to the transfer case mount are narrowed so traxxas rod ends are a little wider. Some dremeling may be required. Just a FYI.

I was looking at Vanquish's links and they come in 5mm increments. If RCperformance Stainless can make them in an exact fit, they have my money. Thanks for the heads up about the X-case skid issue.

No problem. I found out by watching Harley Designs video on YouTube. He covered the venture quite a bit.

Harley is all over this truck and him being with vanquish I'm betting it won't be long after the first that we see parks being announced..

I have heard the vanquish titan links for the OG axial g6 is a direct fit, except the ball is abit wider ofc.

FYI until a better solution comes about, Traxxas turn buckles TRA5139 have a listed length of 118mm. I got 2 sets on order from Amain. I'll report back once I get them.

The lower links from my axial SCX10ii cherokee rtr is the exact size for all the lower links on the venture...... and it looks like they fit in the upper 4 link spots in the rear as well.....maybe will need to shorten those links by turning the rod ends in a bit

I have a picture on my phone but can’t upload it......PM me if interested

This is true. I had a vanquish titanium kit for the g6. Fits perfect but requires reusing the hpi balls

Don't work. Listed length is a lie! lol. They are about 5 mm too long.

On a good note, I hear vanquish ti for g6 and the HR links work. ;)

Wasn't a lie. I found out that my calipers are off. The calipers jump readings. Sorry for the wrong info.

If they are too long they can easily be shorten,Other then that, get the 4mm traxxas rod ends, get a 4mm threaded rod,get a 5 or 6 mm aluminum tube and make your own links.Easy and cheap

You're good. The listed length of the traxxas turnbuckles was a lie, not what you told me. 118.5 was right but the turnbuckles I bought were listed as 118 mm and they were much longer when I got them and tried to use them.

I’m making links for mine out of 8-32 all thread, 6 mm brake line, and Traxxas 5347 rod ends. Using the Trxxas balls on the axles and reusing the HPI balls on the center skid.
