As we are getting closer to take part to G6 Revon in Italy, last minute touches are being made.Front aluminum bumper holder and a hook to have something to be grabbed from.And not to forget, general switch wich cuts off power even with the battery pluged in.Stay tuned, more to come

Back from G6 Recon in Italy, the truck performed outstanding, did the 12 hours gix endure with no breakage,the car went smooth, also passed with success the next day TTC Challenge.After this event, the HPI Venture is now G6 Recon Certified

After running the G6 in Italy, my front aluminum bumper holder, started to get used and the holes where bigger because of the abuse that the front stinger fot, so I decided to replace it with solid metal

I think I had 5 minutes of runtime with the new motor.Conclusion?Could be to much to handle?Or it was just time to give up after 1 year of hard trailing

After breaking the rear diff I decided to shim the atack pinion so I added teo shims on each axle on the outside, just before adding the driveshaft

The motor is a real beast, so I had to gear it down, using a 17t pinion, this is the smalest I could get on the 5mm bore and swapped with the optional spur 60t

Also, after running the G6 in Italy and the 12 hour fix enduro, I haven't open the trandmision, so I had to do it. What I found inside, was a mess, but evrything was working, so cleaned the old grease and replaced it with a new one. Everything is perfect now. Waiting to see how it handles on the rocks

On the idler gear, I replaced the stock one( 60t I believe) with the hot racing 58t gear. The stock bearings don’t fit my 58t gear Did you run into that problem?
