So i got this truck,to make it as performant as it can be,ready to face Axials,Vatteras and TRX-4.For the begining i just tucked the front bumper inside as best as i could,by removing aproximatively 3 mounting holes using a dremel. And removed the spare tyre.In the future planing on changing the rear bumper.Just a picture to see how the bumper looks.Pretty happy with it.The tyres are just for the moment in there,in plan are the Hyrax,Flat Iron or Pitbulls XL

Yeah, well the tyres and wheels are a big WICH ONE to pick up?That would be hard.In the mean time I expect Vanquish and Harley to come up on the marquet with some cvds.I am guessing HPI will take ages to get them out

the turning radius of the venture sucks. ive upgraded the servo to a savox 1210 and still cant get much angle on turning, i think JDM74 pulled it apart and said it was the knuckle design. i need to do 3 point turns to move the thing around. have you found a way around this, or am i massively missing something? It will never have the scx10 2 or TRX4 turning radius.First off i need to sort out the axle shafts. For now i am pretty happy with the rest of the truck

If your competing you don’t want to use big mah packs. 1000mah packs is enough to get you through a course with winching. For wheels you should look into Lockedup RC wheels. 1.9 Wheels |

Seems that night time is a good adviser. So after looking at it,I decided to do some changes.Rear bumper is bulky ,so it had to come off. Also lowered the body, also had to trim the back of the body an the sides. Now i have no gap in the front between bumper and body. Also had to trim the fenders a litle bit, where the wheels are rubbing. Here is the result, love the way it came out, waiting for a friend to do me,a rear metal bumper ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk |

This is where I am at.I was very annoyed by having to carry allot of snow and mud on the truck,so I came up with some inner fenders, made out of styrene.First test was impresing, almost no extra we8ght on the chassis, keeping mud and snow out. Also changes the on-off switch to a waterproof one, found on a local electronic store ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk |
