I’m guessing you had to clearance the chubs to get them to fit? I emailed SSD and they told me this time that they are not working on CVD’s because HPI was working on their own. I emailed them and they said 4-6 weeks but it’s HPI so I guess that means 2-3 years

They are giving stupids ETA as they can't handle the situation at the moment.As a worker in one of their distributors,we can't even get the older models in stock because HPI can't sduply them at the moment

CVD's are like the one thing I am waiting for. The other stuff that has been coming out is great and def will be buying some for my truck, but a set of cvd's would be awesome lol. I may pick up some ar44 ones to try and make work, at least than I would have replacements if needed.

SSD wont be making ones,as HPI is already working on them.Release date from HPI....well thats in the coming 10 years )))

I'm surprised this thread isn't busier, even stock the venture is leaps and bounds in front of the rest, including the scx series. By far the best balanced and simple truck on the market. I've gotten rid of my other scalers now I have a venture and trx4 !

I love this car, im already pretty deeply invested in it

But it got hard competition from Axial and Traxxas.
Im sure it will get more popular as time goes by abit, people always want that 2 truck or 3 or ... nevermind.

EDIT: CVD's sure woud be nice.
