Default SSD future upgrades......?
Would be interesting to hear if SSD will get into making upgrades for venture.At the moment there is only one aftermarket comapny that does upgrade parts for the venture

What a timely post. I just emailed SSD about CVD's for the Venture. Here was their reply that I got on the 19th:

Hi Jason

Yes we do plan to make CVDs but we need a few months to get them to market as we only just started work on Venture products.
So expect to see some SSD Venture parts in the coming months...

Ok.Will wait then and see.The only thing bothering me is that I don't know if to go with STRC brass setup or wait for SSD,as in september i will be atending the G6 Recon comp in Italy

GLad that SSD is going to make Venture parts!

In the meantime, just do the Vaterra Ascender CVD mod and enjoy crawling with more steering now!

I am interested in a brass setup for the moment.Altough it's a minus,I am not bothered with the axle shaft

I was a bit worried the Venture forum seemed a bit slow, and as i have not been driving much myself then i have not gotten any feedback from the guys here that got one.

But it must be good, cuz if things are bad then people dont hide it.
And its nice that SSD will be putting out some goodies too for the Venture.

For CVD's probably HPI will be the first to come out on the market with the upgrade parts.I just want a brass chubs and knuckles

Aluminum C hubs, Brass knuckles. Knuckle will be ready in a couple of weeks...

SSD is an important player ;) I would say that's all you need, actually, if they continue to pump out stuff. My SCX10s have plenty of various upgrades but eventually they end up as SSD-rigs both for looks and performance. In hindsight I regret buying upgrades from certain other brands.
