Axle Swap... Hmmmm
 

I've had my Venture since early 2018 and over this time, besides just the cosmetic changes I've made I've done performance mods as well. Servo & radio gear, brushless motor &, ESC, battery re-lo, weighted front mount and of course tires & wheels. And I've really put her through some meat grinder comps. I really dig this truck as it has been tough out of the box and a solid performer out on the trail and rocks. I've yet to do the CVD mod and now that it's time to give her a tear down and R&R I thought I'd do just that. As I dug in I thought that maybe I'd just swap her axles with a set of TFL's that I have.
Has anyone taken this route? Shock mounting position is unique to the Venture (top of axle vs behind) as is the BTA steering that I like alot and want to preserve. Might mean I'm getting into more than I want to, but I think I'm going to go through with it. It's what we do right?

Any thoughts? Those axles are horrible.China stuff,better throw in some TRX-4 ones

I've heard that before but I've never had a problem with them... and they've seen some hard trail miles...

Maybe, china stuff it's like a lottery,they could be awful or could be flawless.You never know

I'd either wait for HPI CVDs, but that could be awhile or do the little modding to fit proven and available Ascender CVDs in the HPI axles. "thumbsup"
