To get the full turning potential out of the chassis, yes.

I second that. In stock form, the Venture turns like a 2 yr old on a tricycle, and is behind its competition in that aspect.

You're likely right. But are you just speculating or do you know something that confirms that?

Re: Finally HPI CVD's

Not speculating, working in a HPI shop, I know what I am talking :)

Darn, I was hoping that you were just speculating and even more, I was hoping that you might be wrong.

But I guess you know what you're talking and we won't see these this year.

I'm not surprised by this delay though, just disappointed..

Me aswell, I also have a venture. Also the kit version should be around 200$ and not 250, but that's only my opinion

Maybe mines a 1 off or my servo arm is longer but I'm definitely getting full lock.

Re: Finally HPI CVD's

I'm not 100 percent here but full lock with the dog bones is only 40 ish degrees and it would be an easy 45 degrees with the cvd's. Hence why yes they do turn stock as far as they can but its still not up to the other rtr trucks.

Full lock means where the dogbone nearly pops out, but the wheel would turn even more with cvd's there

It is what I have been waiting for! This truck continues to amaze me it's cryptonite is the crappy turning radius.

F-yeah!

The venture needs so little, that this was one of the only things I was wanting to upgrade!
