Default SBK coming this week

Well I'm trying to support HPI so I have a SBK kit coming this week. I was looking at the optional 56t idler gear. Wouldn't that give more speed? I'm thinking of building a Tuff Truck vs a crawler.

I'll be keepin an eye on this, I bought a RTR and the kit, haven't built the kit yet but I'm pretty happy with the RTR, I always liked HPI just wish they'd get their crap together. The HPI Wheely King was the one that got this addiction started lol.

Yeah wish I didn't sell my RTR. They are in the process of rebuilding. I'm 43 I understand bankruptcy and what it takes to rebuild after a new owner takes over. Patience and support is what everyone needs to do. It's not an overnight fix. My 1st hobbygrade was the 2wd Wheely King. Tell your local hobby shops and websites that you want them to carry HPI. #supporthpiracing

With this SBK I'm going for more of a Tuff Truck Build.

12 months after I got my SBK and still love it. A really good quality design that drives well. Enjoy your build.

love my hpi, they call it the silent killer at the local spot, Wheels and tires are the only upgrades and walks lines the comp rigs do.

I recently put the original tyres and wheels back on. Surprisingly capable once theyve worn in a little, clear mud no problem at all.

The Venture is a stout little model. I've made mine pretty heavy, and it's taken a decent beating. As in, hopping over rocks only to go axle pumpkin first into another large rock, at speed high enough to shatter the rock (decomposed granite).

Should be tough enough for a Tuff Truck build that will last, and stand up to some punishment.

The clear bodies were supposed to be back in stock. I've been waiting for those.

Ooh, that's good news. Hopefully they aren't $100 still.
