The kit looks great. Plastics already cut off of the sprue are a bonus.

It's good to finally see the Venture kit in the wild.

Pinion held on by a circlip that I managed NOT to lose like I usually do.

The SSD knuckles needed shorter M3 x 6mm screws to hold the plate on, but still 10mm long to fit to the C hub. Bearings are a slightly slack fit. I'm replacing most screws with stainless steel as I build.

It's essential to install the 2 M3 x 10mm screws now as they stop the brass weights sliding into the diff bearings.

Front axle complete. Easy build. The manual is very good to understand. Rear axle build tomorrow.

I can try. but it might need a different mount and also an extra link. Will see tomorrow once i have built the rear axle.

Congrats on the 1000th

You would need an extra rear upper link mount (117356) as in the picture. Also the front single upper link is 106mm long so I assume you would need another, plus a couple more rod ends. That's assuming it doesn't interfere with the steering.

It looks to bolt on the same way as the front using the diff cover screws which are long enough to go through the axle housing and into the mount.

Where did you get your SBK from? It's the first I've seen other than silly press releases. And does your supplier have any more?

I'm in the UK and got mine from Wheelspin models. Don't know if they have any more in stock. I have seen some on ebay uk as well.

Bag B rear axle.

Locker. Looks to be nicely made. No junk soft metal here (I hope).

The bearing was just a bit tight on the Shaft. Light rub with wet and dry paper sorted it.

Brass weights in and don't forget the 2 screws that stop them sliding into the bearings. Both diffs have great fit on the gears. No shims required. Good stuff HPi.

Lockout has a notch on 1 side which lines up with the shock mount for extra clearance.

Rear axle complete.

Are we he weights included also for the rear axle or did you buy extra set?

No shims required it's already better than an Axial axle

Weights are included. Only non stock parts at the moment are SSD knuckles and Bow House skid.

Links done. Rear upper links 62mm with 1 end having a bent rod end. 4 lower links 93.5mm. I will be making my own stainless lower links sometime, just too busy with work atm. 106mm front uppper link and the steering and panhard links. All use the same rod ends, except the steering link has a different ball one end.
