|  Stupid screw size
So I thought I'd paint my diff covers, unscrewing them I noticed that they were pretty rounded so no biggy I have tonnes of stainless m3 that would fit. Ha, the screws ar 2.4mm thick ffs

I've also wondered about that weird size. What were they thinking? More genuine screw sales maybe? Not really a big problem. Simply replace them with 2.5mm screws. They will be a little stiffer the first time you put them in, less stiff than when you're building a kit and threading screws for the first time. I've been told the stainless screw kits use 2.5mm to replace them as well. Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk |

it is listed as 2.5mmx25mm in the manual. It is very common for diff covers to be odd though many are 2.6mm |

Well they were a pain to get out as a few stones had damaged 2 of the hexes so out with the dremel to make a slot! In two years only the servo has been changed, she's getting a good service this weekend both diffs stripped cleaned and greased up ��

What bugs me is that I can't seem to find longer bolts so I can use nuts on the back side of the upper link mounts.

Thanks for the link to the bolts. I don't think I require an aluminum mount, but I sure would feel better about having metal threads from the extra nuts.
