GPM center drive shaft Anyone use the GPM center drive shaft that connects the transfer case to the slipper clutch? If so, I'm curious how the spring tension is maintained to make the slipper clutch tighten/loose. Can't find a good picture, description, or review on line. Or should I just stick with the drive cups and the dogbone? Anyone know of a third option I am unaware of? Any help is appreciated 😊 |
Re: GPM center drive shaft The stock drive shaft is fine in my opinion. There isn't and variation in angle while driving as you get with axle driveshafts. Dogbones are bad on steering shafts as they limit the turn angle is the reason for cvd's or universals. I lock my slipper anyway just by winding the spring tension up tight anyway. |
