I dont know of any but I shortened my front upper link to rotate the axle back which gives it some caster, this also corrects the pinion angle (it comes pointing up).

I did the same as Humboldt. My last couple of posts in my build thread show the result. I made up a link with Vaterra Ascender link parts and some spacers also it was 4mm shorter. See post #119 on. I haven't driven on this set up yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

I'm just remembering... the thing is with behind the axle steering clocking the c-hubs doesn't really work too well. You can only shift it a few degrees before the links hit the axle, driveshaft or something.

Agree with Humboldt. It would need altering the link, or putting it in front of the axle. I havent really thought about it much. I have a spare axle housing and other pieces, but not sure if its enough to try clocking the chubs. Must go open my Venture spares box.

I think the original upper link length is 104mm and I just made the vaterra links set to 100mm. The HPI link has a tapered end where it goes onto the axle mount., so just popped the Vaterra link in a drill and spun it on a file to get the same effect.

oh im no stranger to modifying or even making my own parts.
so moving or changing the BTA is acceptable.

i have two sbk's and will start to build them soon so i was looking for options.

i have the cad skills to model clocked c's and a friend with a 5-axis cnc that can machine them if i take things that far.

That's cool. I do have a spare axle housing and some SSD aluminium c hubs, but will have to wait a while until I can do anything. Busy with life elsewhere atm.

Let us know how you get on. Should be out for a run tomorrow and hopefully some video.

The SBK is nice quality. The only disappointment was bearing fit was loose in the gears in the spur come reduction gears. They just fell in (and out).
